Bandung, A Place for History and Uniques~

Today, i went for photographing of Bandung places, its so fun!

There is a lot of old building in Bandung, and a culture that the other place didnt have it...enjoy my photographs that stilllll amateurs~~~  (sorry for bad/strange english ==;)

Hari ini saya memutuskan untuk ngambil foto-foto Bandung. Awalnya buat temen di Jepang, tapi jadi keasyikan~ khukhukhu. Bandung, banyak macam anekdotnya. Mulai dari tempat bersejarah, gedung-gedung peninggalan Belandanya yang sangat banyak, budaya-budaya yang tidak ada di tempat lain, ah pokoknya banyak lah! Silahkan melihat-lihat jepretan-jepretan saya yang masih sangat amatir ini~

Lapangan Gasibu (Gasibu field, in front of Sate Building)

  (Sate Building. Sate, is an indonesia food, it made from meat (cow, chicken, goat, rabbit) we cut it to small pieces and then we made it into sticks made from bamboo usually, and we bured down the meat. Its delicious, its like this.( sorry for bad english again ==; )(picture of sate/satay: from google.com)

Di depan gedung Pos(what a relaxing place to read. Even if you are in the front of post building...but, really, i serious, its great, and we have a good air here! see, at the back we have many threes...its kinda refreshing i think...)

Bandung kilometer 0 (Bandung zero kilometers) (The 0 (zero) Kilometers of Bandung. Located in Asia-Africa street near the Merdeka Building or "Freedom Building" BDG= Bandung, PDL=Padalarang, a place near Bandung city, go by toll)

Barber at the side of the street (In Bandung, we can find this kind of shop. Its barber place in the side of the street. There are an umbrella right? and a chair if the picture didnt go like this ==; they cut every people hair just like usual. Maybe we can relax a bit in this kind of shop because they placed in the under of three, so its relaxing~)

Medicine place (where we can take medicine (of course we must have the doctor recipie first))

shop at the side of the street ( We have a lot of this kind of shop in Bandung. Another type is, they sell in the sidewalk, and we call it "pedagang kaki lima" or "five feet trader" in english, i translate it...= =;. They can sell any kinds of item in a cheap price~)

Gedung Sate/ sate building
why the name of this building is "gedung sate, which is mean, sate/satay building?
because, at the top of the building, it has a sate/ satay stick. But i don't know the further reason...

sate is satay. In Bahasa Indonesia, we call it "sate"
